Q3: Does a satin finish hide wall imperfections as well as a flat finish?
No, generally flat finishes are better at hiding minor imperfections because they don’t reflect light. A satin finish has a slight sheen which can sometimes draw attention to bumps or unevenness in the wall surface. However, satin offers superior washability and durability compared to flat.
