Please Note: This is a Midtone Base. It is specifically designed to be tinted at the point of purchase with colorants to create your desired medium-range color. It cannot be used untinted and is not suitable for very light pastel or very deep/dark colors.
Suitable for both interior and exterior applications, Duron Opulence Semi-Gloss Midtone Base is perfect where both vibrant color and maximum resilience are needed. The semi-gloss finish offers superior resistance to moisture, stains, and wear, making it exceptionally easy to wash and scrub. It’s ideal for interior kitchens, bathrooms, trim, doors, and cabinets, as well as exterior doors and accents. This paint boasts advanced adhesion and is resistant to fading and weathering. Crucially, the high sheen of semi-gloss will accentuate any surface imperfections; meticulous surface preparation is essential.
Application Tips: For best results, ensure surfaces are meticulously clean, dry, smooth, and free of imperfections, dust, grease, or loose paint before painting. Stir the tinted Opulence paint thoroughly before and during use. If using multiple cans tinted to the same color, it is highly recommended to intermix (box) them to ensure absolute color consistency. Apply with a high-quality brush, roller (short nap roller cover recommended), or airless sprayer. For optimal coverage and durability, two coats are generally recommended. Allow adequate drying time between coats as per product label instructions (typically 2-4 hours for latex paints, but verify).
