Valspar Pro-Hide Gold Ultra Interior Self-Priming Paint is the professional’s premium selection for achieving beautiful light colors in residential and commercial spaces. This Pastel Base provides a Flat finish and features a Zero VOC* formula, promoting better indoor air quality. (Colorants added will increase VOC level slightly)  

Please Note: This is a Pastel Base. It must be tinted at the point of purchase with colorants to create your desired light or pastel shade. It cannot be used untinted or for deep colors.

Once tinted, Pro-Hide Gold Ultra delivers a smooth, uniform finish with even application via spray, brush, or roller, enhancing project efficiency. Its durable formula ensures dependable hide and coverage in delicate pastel hues, coupled with the line’s hallmark excellent touch-up capabilities – vital for maintaining pristine walls and ceilings.

Recommended Surfaces: Properly prepared interior walls, trim, and ceilings of previously painted or bare drywall, plaster, masonry, wood, and primed metal.

Surface Preparation: Thoroughly clean the surface and allow it to dry completely. Remove any existing wallpaper and all loose or peeling paint. Scrape and sand damaged paint areas smooth. Ensure glossy surfaces are sanded dull for proper adhesion.

Application Instructions: Stir tinted paint thoroughly before and during application. Intermix containers of the same tinted product to ensure color uniformity. Apply only when surface, air, and product temperatures are between 50°F and 90°F (10°C – 32°C). Use a premium-quality brush, a synthetic roller cover (e.g., 3/8″ – 3/4″ nap), or an airless sprayer (Recommended: 2000 PSI, .015″ – .019″ tip). Thinning is not typically required. If rolling, paint the ceiling first, then walls. Work in small sections (approx. 2′ x 2′), applying paint in an “N” pattern, then finish with light, even roller strokes in one direction. Some pastel colors may require multiple coats for optimal coverage.

Clean-up & Disposal: Clean tools and spills immediately with warm, soapy water. Do not pour unused paint down the drain. Consult local authorities for proper disposal and recycling methods.
